What are the benefits of an RV generator?

There are many benefits to having an RV generator, including:

There are three main types of RV generators:

  • Inverter generators. These are a newer type of generator that is becoming more popular among RVers. Inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they are also more efficient and quieter. Inverter generators typically run on gasoline or propane.
  • Standby generators. These are the largest and most expensive types of generators. Standby generators are permanently installed on the RV and are typically used in conjunction with solar panels. If you are buying a new RV, there is often an upgrade option to add a standby generator to your RV with a dedicated compartment for it.
